Waiting for......

Over forty people to gather in Thanksgiving...

Lots of laps to rest in....

A house full of family to watch over....

Someone to pick me......

Laughter of a child as they swing ~ higher than they ever have.....

A pot of oil, propane and a well seasoned turkey......
the best fried turkey ever!

School work and college applications to be over......

A bit of cold weather (sixty degrees?) and a
fire to breathe life into.......

A fire....made of gathered sticks and logs....
to be gently coaxed into flames.....

Our dog "cousins".... Max, Maddie and all
the doggie visitors that will come to visit for Thanksgiving ~ dogtopia!

Visitors who explore the delights of the forest......

Those that appreciate the beauty of "Spanish moss"......

"Mama Layne" to bring us all the left over "treats" from the kitchen....

Eggs to be laid and gathered.......

A pile of leaves to be thrown into....
and little ones leaping and squealing with glee as they
jump into it.....

Someone to say...You are truly majestic.......

Ideas for Thanksgiving...name tags, decorations ~
looking for some new ideas.......

A house full of family and friends gathering
together in Thanksgiving.......

Waiting........

  3. Gorgeous. But you forgot the milk punch and the cornucopia... Wish we were there to celebrate with you. You always make the day perfect.

Funniest Thanksgiving memory? When you told Tim and I that you had the CUTEST, the BEST picture of the two of us, then searched through your computer only to come up with a picture of me... and the better boyfriend!!! I've never, ever, seen you turn so red! Ah, nothing that fried turkey and sweet potatoes couldn't fix.

    Happy Thanksgiving!

  4. First of all, It is now 80 degrees and we are running our air conditioner! Looks like the fire is going out the window! Secondly, just got back from the grocery and don't worry Julie, we are using YOUR milk punch recipe that you perfected one year...I might practice on that recipe tonight! However, "Milkpunch Mark will be here to handle them on Thanksgiving morning! Did you have to remind me of the whole boyfriend thing.....I had managed to forget that one! I am turning red as I think about it. Ellen and Sara are starting on the new Thanksgiving place cards for this year...it is going to be cute! Thanks for all the comments and I hope your Thanksgivings are great!
